Michael Edwards
Title IVE Field Faculty, Social Work
Michael Edwards is a Title IV-E Public Child Welfare Field Instructor and faculty member in the School of Social Work. Edwards has worked as a social service worker for 14 years with experience within four subfields such as probation, child proactive services, school social work, and as an instructor/adjunct professor. As a Commercialization Fellow, his project involves working to further develop and commercialize CaseAide, a case management software he created for the social service industry. In addition, Edwards is seeking to introduce curriculum to teach the interplay between generalist social work practice and social entrepreneurship.
