CSUSB School of Entrepreneurship and Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship enter new partnership with city of Palm Desert to operate the city's iHub

The partnership leverages CSUSB’s renowned expertise in entrepreneurship education and innovation alongside the city’s commitment to cultivating a thriving business environment.

On January 1, 2024, the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE) and School of Entrepreneurship at California State University San Bernardino assumed operations of the Palm Desert iHub. The Palm Desert iHub, powered by the City of Palm Desert and IECE/School of Entrepreneurship, is an innovation focused business resource center and incubator for aspiring and existing entrepreneurs and small business owners in Palm Desert and the greater Coachella Valley.

The partnership leverages CSUSB's renowned expertise in entrepreneurship education and innovation alongside the city's commitment to cultivating a thriving business environment. Both the School and the IECE are globally recognized for their expertise and impact – the School of Entrepreneurship – the first and only school of its kind in the state – is recognized as a Top 50 program in the world by Entrepreneur Magazine and The Princeton Review. The IECE is recognized as a Top 35 Program in the world for fostering entrepreneurship and innovation by AACSB International.

IECE and the School of Entrepreneurship team are bringing a new vision to the iHub, with the intent to increase programs and services available to the community while bringing together a wide range of entrepreneurial support organizations to provide training, technical assistance, and access to resources for small business owners and entrepreneurs. The iHub is located across the street from the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus at 37023 Cook Street, Suite 102.
